Dave Rubin of The Rubin Report talks to Dan Crenshaw (Congressman, Former Navy SEAL) about the US government’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Dan calls out some of the media’s misrepresentation of President Trump’s actions and sets the record straight on the timeline of events of how the government responded as Coronavirus began spreading around the world. Dan shares his disappointment with leaders like Senator Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi for using this crisis to play partisan politics. Dan points out that it was the Obama administration that did not replenish the strategic national stockpile of N95 masks and PPE supplies. He feels that our for profit healthcare system is one of the main reasons that we have not run out of ventilators or ICU beds. Dan discusses some of the more absurd rules that have been put in place by government leaders during the COVID-19 pandemic that he feels infringe on civil liberties, but do nothing to benefit public health or keep us safe. He also gives his honest opinion about the stimulus bill and the accusations of “pork” that were in it. Dan also shares a realistic view of how we can live with the virus in a way that balances both economic and public health concerns. Dan also gives the behind the scenes story of how he heard about Pete Davidson making fun of his lost eye on Saturday Night Live. Dan also gives the background of how he was invited on Saturday Night Live to give his response and why it is so important to refrain from always being outraged.

  2. Dave you should not trust this guy Crenshaw, he's a fake. He promotes the erosion of the protected rights in our Constitution and calls it "conservative".

  3. I’m 24 and get my news from Crowder, Tim Pool, Dave Rubin, and similar YouTube channels

    I don’t watch any TV.

Hope there are more like me.

  4. Dan Crenshaw mentions his podcast. I checked youtube and didn't find it (go figure). Where do we find his podcast?

  5. Why doesn’t the president call an emergency powers act and tell people to go back to work . Unbelievable , if it’s too hard let mike pence take over ! USA USA USA

  6. Democrats want to license everything… but not voting? BULLSHIT!

Yes we all know it, that's because voting fraud always benefits the Democrats and adding voting security like ID will hurt voting fraud

  7. "They wanna listen to an hour long podcast…They want a deeper explanation, not just a talking point…" Honorable Dan Crenshaw, did you just call me out???😂😂

  8. This guy is great, I hope he runs for President one day!!!! He's reasonable, fair, calm and informed. And a legitimate hero who has served his country! Big thumbs up!!!

  9. Why is Crenshaw so open to talk? Hes a navy seal. MSM? CIA? FBI? He doesnt care about the consequences. Bring it on!

  10. I guess he doesn't get emotional or stay up at night thinking of NXIVM, Podesta brothers, Madelaine McCann, Epstein not taking his own life, or his tunnels on little St James, Jimmy Saville, Denis Hastert, Frazzledrip.. etc etc etc etc… I guess Dan Crenshaw just doesn't give a F

  11. States don't have rights, please reread the 10th amendment, states have powers. These are completely different things.

  12. Surely this kind of sloppiness belongs on the left?
Gotta call a halt to this : @ 8.13 ' I went thru the numbers on this ……..turns out we have "Way more" ventilators per capita than Europe. One would think Dan that if you "took the trouble" to go thru the numbers then you could have taken the trouble to give them to us. Furthermore I seem to recall you ridiculing the NHS v the US system when it seems clear you have never lived in the UK and were yet again poorly researching your assertions.

  13. It needs to be debated on the house floor. The people need to see and hear both sides. We need to see the left defend their fluff they put in these bills. And the right expose the fluff. Or vise versa. Then the people will have NO doubt whose playing politics with our lives and lively hood.

  14. Had anyone pointed out there actually was no PPE shortage like there was no ventilator shortage? There was a shortage of the projected need… but did we actually run out? No.

    Btw… I make money from events too. I don't qualify for a loan. I certainly didn't get a grant.
