As depressing as this may be to hear, pretty much all the best leaps in technology came about because of warfare. The militaries of the world are always innovating, always pushing the envelope, and the one-such way in which they have done this is with watercraft. Many present, and upcoming, designs are truly exciting…

The world is going to see some really insane and high-tech innovations such as the Royal Navy’s Dreadnought T2050, which is named after the HMS Dreadnought that was launched clear back in 1906. This new military combat ship will be lightyears ahead in technology.

  1. I was a contractor and worked at the Sea Shadow program office in the Washington DC Navy Yard. Got to go onboard before they disposed of her.

  2. Chinas aircraftcarier is a 1970 USSR second hand hull. Not even close to anything in the US flotilla. Far from second only to the US!

  3. There’re a lot of lunatics Vloggers on YouTube nowadays…. Title didn’t relate to different subjects in the video? 🤥

  4. This kind of technologies should be kept "secret"..because evil china is just waiting and ready to " Steal and Copy" this!

  5. America is so busy building toys they will never use against an enemy who will never play. They know better. Whilst the CCP quietly and efficiently contracts and buys out the World through this beautifully aucistrated global pandemic. America always wanted to be its own little Planet well by the time China is finished it will be. Toys versus Binding Contracts? I'll take contract any time.

  7. Since the U.S. exported all its industry to China, all the high tech manufacturing is in China, along with the rare earth materials industry and the electronics components for modern weapons are made in China who do you think will be the next global superpower / only superpower ?

  8. You mention super cavitating torpedoes – as if they are something great. They are not. They are worse than useless.
    1. 200mph is slow compared to a rocket delivered torpedo.
    2. Their bubble makes them hard (impossible) to direct or control.
    3. They are VERY NOISY — they immediately give away the location of the ship firing them. So, the targeted ship can not only imploy defensive and decoy tech, but also target and destroy the sending ship.
The US has studied them. They don't use them for a reason.
A stealthy torpedo going 50mph that the target ship does not even know is coming, until the explosion is really much better.
BTW for a target far away.. a torpedo that exits the water, and goes airborne at 600mph, is faster and more lethal.

  9. Yes, the military pushed the tech. envelope, but that does not mean that you start running your imagination wild when it comes to future tech. China is not building any of that. All its money is going to be spent patrolling the artificial islands it built in the South China sea.

  10. …hate to tell you, but the USN's Independence class LCS are failures. They are going to be retired as soon as the new frigates, based on an Italian design are constructed. The Independence class never lived up to the hype, cost twice as much as they were supposed to and simply can't do the job they were designed to do.

  11. Hahaha just don’t take it to PERSIAN GULF if you want to keep it or it will go to Bottoms of PERSIAN GULF like your other advanced toys. Remember the high tech invisible RQ DRONES that was shut down to bottom of the water of PERSIAN GULF with a single shut. Lololololololololololol at your face.

  12. This will never happen , China might build it but not UK no £ for such toys. 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼for ☮️

  13. The British idea seems very problematic. Too far ahead of its time maybe. The drone station above on a tether. That would require a great deal of energy to do that, props in a marine environment won't do so well, neither will windows, etc. When it's down that's the time to dispatch the ship. They're outside the box alright.

  14. I think what is super lame, is how this another host/journalist never saying the amount of past & current cyber espionage from China. This only reason why China is a near peer rivals. Without US,they would only be half effective. Now,we got issues. 🤬🤬🤬🤬☠☠.

  15. It's a shame that all these nations waste billions and trillions of dollars making machines of destruction.
Could you imagine what we could accomplish if all of that wealth was spent on medical research, rebuilding
our infrastructure, education, technology. What has war done for this world, Britain, Russia, Germany, Japan
France was all lying in total waste and over 55 million lives were lost after world war 2, what has humanity
learned, nothing. People in this world wont wake up until they start seeing huge mushroom clouds on the
horizon, it'll be to late then wont it.
