    8. Hairspray
    7. West Side Story
    6. Chicago
    5. Rent
    4. Cats

    3. Wicked
    2. The Phantom of the Opera
    1. ‘Les Miserables
    Honorable Mentions:
    The Producers
    A Chorus Line
    The Book of Mormon

  2. At first, I was disagreeing with the choices and didn't think I'd like #1, but les miz definitely takes #1.

  3. My favourite musical is Come From Away because it’s based on a real event. It’s based on 9/11, but not on the attacks. It’s based on how 38 planes landed in Gander, Newfoundland, Canada after they were diverted away from the United States. The Newfies of Gander were so nice to the passengers

  4. I'm not such a fan of Hairspray. It has an incredibly positive message which I love, but I don't really like the music except for Miss Baltimore Crabs.

  5. I stand by the fact that Hamilton is one of the greatest pieces of art in any form in history. For me, it being the best musical of all time is a given.

  6. Idk if I'd pick Hamilton or even wicked over little shop of horrros, fiddler on the roof, Sweeney Todd, dreamgirls, or hello dolly…

  7. I've seen over 200 shows on Broadway. I would probably put Hamilton in the Top 3 alongside West Side Story and Les Mis. After that, some of my favorites include La Cage Aux Folles, Gypsy, Dear Evan Hansen, Company, Hair, Cabaret, A Chorus Line, Spring Awakening.

  8. I don’t think you can limit this topic to 10. What about My Fair Lady, anything from Rogers and Hammerstein.

  9. They ranked Cats over Hamilton, Lion King, West Side Story, Chicago, and RENT!

    How tf is that possible?
