Since I started making tutorial videos I’ve gotten so many requests to do a bad words video. I think curse words are some of the first things a lot of people learn when they are studying a new language. It’s something every language has in common. ASL especially can be more discrete and it’s the first thing hearing people always want to learn! I try not to take myself too seriously and had a lot of fun shooting this.
Comment if you have specific signs you want me to teach 🙂
Keep practicing! I know you can do it.

About me:
Model, actor, and activist Nyle DiMarco has been breaking down barriers and winning over audiences since he burst onto the scene in 2014. As a fan favorite on cycle 22 of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL, DiMarco became the second male winner and first deaf contestant on the hit CW series. Shortly after winning the competition, he signed with Wilhelmina Models and recently walked for Giorgio Armani at Milan Fashion Week S/S17.
In 2016, DiMarco won season 22 of ABC’s dance competition DANCING WITH THE STARS. With the guidance of professional partner Peta Murgatroyd, he became the first deaf contestant to take home the coveted Mirror Ball Trophy. Following his DWTS win, DiMarco jumped back in front of the camera, expanding his acting credits with a role on Hulu’s DIFFICULT PEOPLE starring opposite Billy Eichner and John Early. Previously, he recurred as “Garrett Banducci” on SWITCHED AT BIRTH for Freeform, and will be seen new episodes of Sundance TV’s THIS CLOSE, airing early next year.
DiMarco has quickly become the face of not only the Deaf community but disabled people worldwide. He founded The Nyle DiMarco Foundation, which focuses on bilingual education and aims to improve access to accurate information about early language acquisition. DiMarco is an inspiration to many and speaks all over the world, spreading the word of inclusion and acceptance. He recently spoke to the room of influencers at the NGLCC about the Deaf community and the work that The Nyle DiMarco Foundation is doing.

Hey Nyle, I did not know you had a Youtube Channel until today! I myself and currently taking ASL as my language in school and one of our requirements was to find famous figures/actors who are deaf and do some research. I went through the list of many famous actors and I found your name on the list. I did not know who the heck you were so I chose you! I had to find a specific reason why you were so well known and I found a site that said something like "Nyle never wished he could hear. He is one of those kinds of people who are proud of who they are and accept what gifts they have." I just want to say, thank you for being you! 🙂
